3. Three qualities that got you where you are today: positivity Generosity. Mood.

4. What do you think is the #1 thing you hope people learn from you and learn from you? Love themselves right where they are — because fitness is for every body and everyone — as they work towards becoming who they are.

Just be brave enough to go for it. Because it turns out better than they could ever imagine?

5. How did your signature “WOOT WOOT” begin? I have always believed that everything in life is energy!

And “WOOT WOOT” became my catchphrase to let people know that I saw their strength and I gave them my all back.

My mom always taught me that if someone ever gives you something in a tupperware, you can always give back what you can give back. Never return empty.

We all have some “WOOT WOOT” inside of us to share with the world!

6. What is something that has moved you recently? I only stepped into his power by seeing one of the women I met on BODi.

Claudia, who has battled epilepsy (seizure free for three years now!), had five inches of her brain removed, lost 90 pounds this past year, and shows up at every one of my bodycasts with the biggest smile and all the love, and celebration for everyone around her. Never hesitates to do and encourage.

She is the epitome of #HealthSteam.

7. What is it like to be a mother? There is this boy who holds my whole heart – and he calls me “Mom”.

Being a mother is like wearing your heart outside your body for the rest of your life. Every year is a new journey, and it goes by so fast. There are no parenting books.

There are days that feel so rewarding that you absolutely nail it, and then days where you wonder if you said the right thing or maybe could have done more. And laundry and dishes galore!

You remember the days of running on the swings on the playground, and then suddenly, you’re watching them run into the end zone for the high school football championship.

Being a mother makes you brave and more fearless than you think.

And no matter what goals I reach, or dreams I achieve, my greatest accomplishment will always be being Cain’s mom, and I feel so blessed to have a front row seat in his life.

When people ask me what I hope my son will do in his life or what I want him to be, my only answer is: “Happy.”

8. What is your phone background? Picture of my son and me at his soccer game.

9. What are you most proud of and why? I will always be proud to be Cain’s mom.

But when it comes to my life and what I’ve achieved personally, I’d say the thing I’m most proud of is that no matter how hard or how challenging life seems or how many times I get set back or knocked down, I never let it. Hard things in life change my smile or my purpose.

I have always believed in myself and continue to do so. #mbf Converting from Muscle Burns Fat to Beachbody Super Trainer makes me so proud!

But mainly if someone out there breathes a little easier because of me or someone takes a bold step towards their dream because of my story, that makes me even more proud.

10. What is your idea of a perfect day? A pool day or beach day with my son, family and friends is all about my mom’s homemade meals and her signature Dutch apple pie.

And of course playing some silly games I made up like water balloon tag or freeze dancing. Making memories and being fully in the moment and of course, a really good playlist.

11. Who is your biggest role model? my mother

12. Who is your favorite dinner companion? Forever my chocolate lab will be Booker, who is now tasting all the treats in dog heaven.

13. What quality do you cherish most in a friend? Unconditional love.

14. Whatever makes you smile? ACE VENTURA is watching something.

15. What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done? Parents of teenagers!

Maybe climbing to the top of a crazy high mountain and ziplining over a waterfall in Costa Rica.

But honestly, my most adventurous “thing” is pursuing this dream of mine.

I don’t need anyone else to understand or allow me to do this. I just knew in my heart that it was what I was supposed to do.

16. Best advice you ever got? A quote I live by: “People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But people will never forget how you made them feel,” by Dr. Maya Angelou.

17. What advice would you give to someone who is afraid to work?
First, I’ll find out what’s stopping them. Then I tell them to focus on the person they want to be.

And then to take all their courage to do what that person will do and to remember that the journey of 1,000 miles began with a single step.

18. NSYNC or Backstreet Boys? NSYNC! Bye, bye, bye, Backstreet Boys.

19. What’s one thing people would never guess by looking at you? That I am afraid of the dark. Never watch a scary movie again. Like, never.

20. What excites you most about your beginner-only program?
Everything! I have dreamed of having my own Beachbody program for years.

For the first time, we’re giving people around the world a place to start, whether they’ve never worked out in their life or they just know they want to make a choice to get healthier and stronger.

A beginner-only program where every BODi and every BODi can feel welcome, included and successful from their very first workout, a whole lot of fun and WOOT WOOT!

I love that every exercise we choose and every positive affirmation we choose will help each person focus on their health.

I envision mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, families, active seniors, and especially those who have ever thought fitness was not for them or were intimidated by the gym or exercise, doing this program together with a smile.

My goal is for every person to feel confident that fitness comes in every shape, age, size, body type and race and that they are right where they are meant to be.
