“I really invest in taking care of my skin, just like I do with my body and my nutrition,” says Andrea. “It’s my indulgence.”

“I’m very big about keeping a routine with my facial skin care,” says Andrea. Here’s how she takes care of her skin throughout the day.

“After I wash my face every morning, I use a Refa Carat roller on my face and body,” she says

“I put on my under eye cream, followed by a restorative complex or vitamin C serum. Then I follow it up with moisturizer and sunscreen. If I’m not wearing makeup that day, I’ll mix vitamin C serum with sunscreen.”

After practice

Since she usually works out at home, Andrea stays makeup-free during her workouts. So unless she’s shooting a video, her post-workout skincare routine is basically non-existent.

But on shoot days, she prefers Pharmacy Green Clean Balm to remove makeup: “It’s the best makeup remover you’ll ever use in your life,” she says. “The makeup melts off your skin.”

“In the evening, I clean my face with Green Clean,” says Andrea. “Then I always add some type of glycolic peel — right now I’m using the Dr. Dennis Gross Ultra Gentle Daily Peel Pad — and an anti-aging treatment.”

Then she repeats the steps from her morning routine: eye cream, serum, and moisturizer.

Andrea Rogers’ skincare routine isn’t just about the products she applies. Here are four ways she takes care of her skin from the inside out.

Watch your nutrition

Healthy eating habits, such as cutting out added sugar, can boost your skin. Andrea noticed a change when she cut dairy out of her diet nine years ago.

“Going dairy-free was a complete transformation for my skin,” she says. “My skin cleared up completely.”

Avoid scalding-hot showers

“I love a hot, hot shower or bath,” says Andrea. But my skin doesn’t like it. So I try to stick to light, warm showers and baths. I’m a big shower person—I always add body oil to keep my skin smooth.”

“I drink a ton of water,” says Andrea. “Other than my protein smoothie, I drink nothing but water regularly. I am not a coffee drinker. I’m not someone who drinks alcohol every night. I don’t drink sugary drinks. But I always have a water bottle by my side.”

Despite her busy schedule, Andrea makes sure to get enough sleep every night. “It’s a big contributor to looking and feeling your best,” she says
