Low in fat but rich in protein, chicken breast is an excellent choice for weight loss and a healthy diet.

According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), a 120-gram boneless, skinless chicken breast has 193 calories, including 36 grams of protein, 4 grams of fat, and zero carbohydrates.

“As long as you eat breast meat, chicken will be considered a lean meat,” says Emily Tills, MS, RDN, CDN. “Chicken is a great protein substitute – lean, cheap and readily available.”

When it comes to chicken breasts, the calories and nutrients will depend on how you cook it and whether you eat skin (which has a lot of fat).

Smuggling, baking, roasting, and boneless, skinless chicken breasts are the healthiest options; Even frying boneless, skinless breasts in oil can add significant calories and fat.

Differences will be added depending on how many wings you eat in a single sitting, so baking is your best bet.
